The Student Representative Council (SRC) at Monterey Secondary College is dedicated to enhancing students’ school experiences and developing student leadership.
Each year, students apply and are elected to the SRC, gaining the opportunity to suggest, organise, and lead events and activities. The SRC promotes student involvement in various school events and organises social and cultural activities for the student body.
Monterey is proud to offer an array of lunchtime and after-school activities. The SRC assists in running these clubs throughout the week, providing opportunities for all students to enjoy new experiences and make new friends. By representing their peers, SRC members provide valuable feedback on academic and extracurricular ideas, helping shape the future of the College. The SRC plays a vital role in ensuring that students have a voice in their school community, fostering an inclusive and dynamic environment.
