We have dedicated resources and support systems in place to ensure that every student feels safe, supported, and able to reach their full potential. Our team of trained professionals is here to provide guidance, support, and assistance to students facing various challenges, including academic stress, grief and loss, family conflict, bullying and mental health concerns such as stress and anxiety.
We offer a range of services and resources to help our students, including:
- Counselling and wellbeing therapy services: Our on-site team of mental health professionals use an evidence-based wellbeing approach to provide one-on-one support and guidance to students who may be working through mental health concerns such as stress and anxiety.
- Bullying prevention and support: We have a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying. Our measures include regular education programs, as well as counselling, and support for victims to ensure a safe and respectful school environment.
- Academic support: Our teachers and academic support staff are available to provide extra assistance and guidance to students who may be struggling with their studies.
- Student leadership and engagement initiatives: We encourage our students to take on leadership roles such as the Student Representative Council and Mentorship programs and to get involved in our school community through a range of programs and activities.
- Health and wellness programs: We offer a variety of programs and resources to promote physical and emotional wellbeing: Programs include yoga and mindfulness classes, nutrition and health education programs and participating in a variety of team sports.
- External Wellbeing Support Programs: Get Growing, Sparkways, Jesuit program, Community Lison, Salvation Army, Pivot, Detour and Dogs Connect.
- Lunchtime and After school clubs: We offer a diverse range of clubs and activities to cater to different interests and foster a sense of belonging among students. From Dungeons and Dragons to Sports and Fitness clubs, Art, Sewing, Leathercraft, Pride Club, and various music programs, there’s something for everyone. Additionally, our Community Connections Club helps students connect with the wider community and engage in meaningful experiences.
