About Admissions

Selecting a school is a major decision and Monterey supports families to make this decision in an informed and considered manner.

If you are interested in enrolling at our school, please schedule a tour.

During the tour, you will learn more about our programs and facilities and how a Monterey education can meet the needs of the student(s) in your home. At the conclusion of the tour you can obtain an ‘Application to Enrol’ form from our admissions team.

Our school follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy for the enrolment, placement, and transfer of students. Students who live within the school zone are guaranteed a place at our school. To find out whether you live in zone, please visit:

When enrolling your child in a Victorian government school, you may be asked to provide supporting documentation by completing a Residential Address Check form. This documentation helps schools verify your permanent residence. Please find the form below:

All other applications will be considered subject to available space, and prioritised according to:

  • students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending the school at the same time
  • all other students in order of closeness of their home to the school.
